Of them all, I've spoken to Apollo the most, although there are a great many others. There are also the titans, the progenitors of the gods, a line which I do descend from.

Yes. Countless times. They were active presences in my lifetime.

Yes and no. It's easier to think of them as one generation that begot the next, and it was the generation that followed that gained dominance over both the titans and in the hearts and minds of men.

What's the triple goddess? And what replaced the old religion?

There's a faith where I come from with three goddesses, but I don't know if they're the same. For us, it's the new faith, not the old one. My father's House doesn't hold to it.

Gods more like people? How did they gain dominance over the titans?

I don't know much about her -
them. The old religion was outlawed before I was born. I guess you could say that Uther replaced it.

Do the two faiths coexist at the same time?

[She had been faithful once, but Robb's death and the revelation of her family had been enough to shake her faith. Not only in coming here was she escaping the Lannisters or her mother, she was going to a place where the Seven wouldn't be able to find her. What would be the difference in her life? There was hardship before, just as there would be now. There would be pain and anguish, but nothing would match what the Seven allowed to happen before.

The training had already strained her, but thinking back to the past and Westeros, that was what overwhelmed her.]

I don't know what I believe anymore. Is this a place where gods can exist?

It's slightly sordid, you'll find. The father of most of the gods had no desire for children, out of fear of being overthrown. As a result, when his wife bore him a child, he ate said child whole.

The process repeated itself until Zeus was born, and his mother hid him away. She gave Cronos a rock instead, and fooled him. Later on, Zeus then came in, was able to rescue his siblings, and murdered his father.

There was then a war between the other Titans and the new gods. Upon their loss, the Titans were then sealed away under the earth.

They do. We call them the Old Gods and the New, but the New are also called the Faith of the Seven by those who keep to it.

The goddesses in the Faith of the Seven are the Mother, the Maiden, and the Crone. There are gods, too: the Father, the Smith, the Warrior... and then there's the Stranger.

No one prays to the Stranger much, especially not on the eve of battle.

Some may say yes and others may say no. Some might say they can't exist anywhere, if they don't believe in anything, or if they believe in some other god. Some might wonder whether or not their gods can hear them if they're far away from home.

What are your gods like?

We don't have stories like that about our gods. The Old Gods don't have names or faces, only the New.

Zeus wasn't cursed as a kinslayer?

[That was the question though? What were they like? She thought she knew. She remembers what her Septa had told her, but it didn't seem true anymore.]

The Seven were supposed to have different traits. They are quiet and distant. I don't know if they listen to anyone, even the Mother. I don't know the Old Gods well enough to say what they are like. They didn't seem to have anymore interest in their followers either.

He's the most important god in the group. Patricide is irrelevant, and the gods do plenty of morally questionable things. Zeus is also legendary for his infidelities.

His kids are generally good though.

On the other hand, guns... this person's code name refers to guns. Jerusalem and Paris were in the same world, and while combat in Jerusalem was more or less what Jon would have expected, there were guns in Paris and there will be more guns in Gallipoli. That means that at some point, there may also be guns in Westeros.

And if that's true, this person may be from a path where the Night King has been defeated, because there is a future.

They were the gods of the Children of the Forest, who were there even before the First Men, and they were also the gods of the First Men. There aren't many stories, and there are no septs or clergy, but people who hold to them believe that they're in every leaf and rock and river, and that they watch men through heart trees — weirwoods that the Children carved with faces. A lot of Northerners believe that men can't be false before a heart tree. That makes it the place to make any sort of vow or to take an oath.

I'm sure that a man can be false no matter where he makes a vow if it's a vow he doesn't intend to keep, but at least it matters to some people.
