He is lucky then. For some, coming here is escaping a worse fate at home. There is a chance that he could return.

I am sorry you lost your friend though. Even if it is temporary, it's difficult to lose someone you care about. How are you faring?

Eames has certainly gotten himself into some deep shit before, but generally he's good at getting out of it as well.
