Right, question.
Actually two.
First: Imagine you're being chased for a long time. You're unarmed, and yer injured. About to keel over. You can only carry one thing as you're running: a cell phone [a pause, and a rustle - he's waving his hand] or whatever you people use to communicate; or some food.
Which one do you take, and why?
Second question: who here can deal with high tech gadgets? I got a thing that needs checking before we head to the next mission.

@PETTYOFFICER
Communication items can be taken apart, made into other things if necessary.
Food? Food can spoil, go bad, make you ill--it won't always sustain you. Water would be a better option, but you didn't make it one.
And I deal well with high tech things.

Even if that means ya gotta sit and wait for the others?

You didn't say where I was. Food can be found everywhere.
Also, hiding sometimes is a better tactic to throw someone off your trail.
Alphas often find it beneath them, thinking standing to fight is best.
But to be smart, to sit, calculate, wait, form a plan--that is the way to win.

Nah, that does make sense. Making use of whatever is your strongest suit is only good strategy. But this is why I made the question purposefully vague.

Can I ask why you are asking?

Tryin' to understand people a little better, is all.
no subject
And no one wants to 'understand' people without an ulterior motive.

We're here as a group effort, right? [Why are you people so suspicious. Jeez]
no subject
But really, in the end, at the very end, it's every man for themselves.

no subject
I suppose you did. Which I bet was your point.
no subject
It was. At least it got me to confirm some suspicions I had regarding this cell.
[He sounds amused.] Something tells me you have drawn to the same conclusions even without this broadcast, though.
no subject
Of course.
You continue to be interesting; better than boring, thankfully.
