My daddy always told me this world was a hard one to survive in. I'm not sure that he ever imagined it to this extent, but sometimes I can hear him saying those words so clearly in the back of my head.

Already in this brief time here I find myself so... different. I imagine we've all been tested in our own way. It certainly takes a toll even if the results are successful. At times it's as if I need an anchor to weigh me down.

Drawing has...always been a relaxing exercise for me. Lately it's hard to get some rather unpleasant images out of my head. Do you all have someone that you fight for? A place? Names might not be the wisest to drop here, but it'd boost my spirits to hear about them even in the vaguest sort of sense.

Like a weight has been lifted all at once. The one I'm left with is much lighter than the old one.

Maybe it does. I used to wonder how people could kill so effortlessly or thoughtlessly.

Have you killed many people? It seems most people here have.
