My daddy always told me this world was a hard one to survive in. I'm not sure that he ever imagined it to this extent, but sometimes I can hear him saying those words so clearly in the back of my head.

Already in this brief time here I find myself so... different. I imagine we've all been tested in our own way. It certainly takes a toll even if the results are successful. At times it's as if I need an anchor to weigh me down.

Drawing has...always been a relaxing exercise for me. Lately it's hard to get some rather unpleasant images out of my head. Do you all have someone that you fight for? A place? Names might not be the wisest to drop here, but it'd boost my spirits to hear about them even in the vaguest sort of sense.

It isn't that I fight for him, but I fight with him in mind. I hope that...if I succeed, COST will help find my husband and bring him back to me. He went missing during out last mission, but there is no sign of him. If I help in these missions, maybe word will come about him?

I hope he does come back. There really isn't a reason that he shouldn't. You're absolutely wonderful.

I'm sure he's trying to get back to you just as persistently.

He wouldn't leave my by choice. He's only missing.

All I want is to know he is safe. Even if we never see each other again, knowing he's alive and happy, that would be enough for me. I couldn't bear it if he died again.

I believe we all have a path in this world. Sometimes that path is intertwined with someone else's. Not even the most powerful forces can keep them from converging.

I hope that's the case for you. I'll always help you in any way that I can.

I wondered that as well. When I found him here, I wondered if the gods meant for the two of us to find each other again, no matter where we go.

I'm not so sure anymore that the world ever gentles for anyone. The best we can do is find someone to make it all more bearable.

I must have read it somewhere. It means that true love carries great pain sometimes. Sometimes they go hand in hand when you care dearly for someone.

other than that, i dont care what people think of me. why should i? even a good king can be hated, or a bad one loved. i just do what i think is right.

There are many stories of bad kings. As irritating as you are, I don't wish that on you.

You seem embarrassed to care about anything besides yourself. It's all a bit sad.

My father was a lawman for many years. He didn't have to be the brashest character in the room nor the most imposing. He listened more than he spoke. In that regard everything he said sounded so deliberate and purposeful.

I mean, seems like Regency can do a lot of things. Maybe they'll stop him from ever dying. I ... I didn't get to see him fall. But I know the people back home. If anyone has a chance from stopping Handsome Jack, it's them. I just don't know when and where, that'll happy - and maybe, maybe the Regency will make it never happen.

I'm not going to risk it. I won't let them stop it.
