this stupid mission is annoying.
they arent even feeding us properly. seriously who the hell runs an army like this? i could eat ten times what i have already. a knight like me shouldnt have to scavenge.
just waiting is a bore, so tell me something interesting. its fine if its trivial, but if its boring, you owe me a meal.

I could regale you with accounts of the most short-lived war in Thedosian history. The Battle of Squealing Plains.

Apparently in 5:20 Exalted the people of Kirkwall declared war against the nugs for fear that these hairless, little, long-eared creatures carried the blight.
Needless to say the nugs lost and they tend to squeal when you take them down.
It was so pathetic that most people in Kirkwall refuse to talk about it in polite company even to this day.

humans really are fools. to declare war against common vermin is a waste of time.
seriously, imagine if theyd lost. it would have been a deserved punishment for such a farce.
sorry about the lateness I had two major exams this week
In my world we have these creatures called darkspawn, tainted, blood thirsty creatures that kill or taint everything in their path. Their soul purpose is to corrupt the old gods and turn them into archdemons.
This awakening brings about a Blight and Blight has two meanings, the actual event when the archdemon unifies all of these darkspawn and leads an attack on the surface. Blight also refers to the disease, death, and corruption caused by the very presence of darkspawn. Their touch and their blood blackens and poisons all and when a human is tainted they are considered to have the Blight or to be Blighted.
Kirkwall set about exterminating nugs because they thought that these creatures carried the blight, not unreasonable since nugs populate underground areas and, lo, darkspawn come from under the ground.
you're fine!!
Naturally, though, none of that makes it into her reply. ]
you know, we had problems with rats, but we never declared a war against them.
and from the way you talk about it, im guessing this extermination business didnt work out. or at least, it didnt get rid of the blight.
I'm terrible, but thank you for your patience
Well I suppose there are other pests one could wage a war agains, like spiders. Giant, man-eating, horse-sized spiders.
Tell me you would not go to war in order to rid the world of these insideous crawling monsters.
