Of them all, I've spoken to Apollo the most, although there are a great many others. There are also the titans, the progenitors of the gods, a line which I do descend from.

Those who followed the old religion believed in many things, the triple goddess among them. Or so I've heard.

What's the triple goddess? And what replaced the old religion?

There's a faith where I come from with three goddesses, but I don't know if they're the same. For us, it's the new faith, not the old one. My father's House doesn't hold to it.

I don't know what I believe anymore. Is this a place where gods can exist?

Some may say yes and others may say no. Some might say they can't exist anywhere, if they don't believe in anything, or if they believe in some other god. Some might wonder whether or not their gods can hear them if they're far away from home.

What are your gods like?

So we know each other better. We're not sworn brothers and sisters, but we're still all in this together, and there are a lot of you I haven't really met yet, outside of marching around a room. And so that if the worst happens to any of us, there might be memories of the ones who were lost.

What's the Raven Queen like?

Most individuals on Thedas are considered Andrastian, so they worship a "god" if you like and they call him the Maker.

If you are a Qunari however you're a godless barbarian.

Dwarves revere their ancestors as Paragons...but if they worshiped anything else apart from that it would be the rock. They believe we come from the earth so naturally they would sanctify stone...plus they live underground.

The Avaar worship the old gods of the Alamarri. They have a Lady of the Sky and a few lesser gods.

Elves, particularly Dalish Elves worship many gods...nine that I know of.

Some think my people worship trees. They're not completely wrong.

i have no faith in any gods, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
i have seen the boons they bestow instill their devout with a false sense of security. all we have in battle are ourselves. each other.

Praying won't save you if you don't know how to fight, or if your brothers in arms don't have your back.

Has a friend saved you in battle, or have you saved a friend, maybe?

The people I know... They drink, usually. When it's a really big fight. Check their weapons, go over their plans. Spend time in the company of their friends.

But no one really is that... religious.

I was never really as religious as that either — fear of the gods isn't the only reason to try to keep your word. Most of my old brothers weren't as religious as that either, though I would still have trusted them with my life. But some men are. Some men want to pray before a fight.

What about you? What do you do?

There are a many so-called gods in my world. I prefer to put my belief in what I can see and feel.

What do you think of when battle looms?

Mostly of whether or not I'm prepared for the battle. Whether or not my men are prepared, whether or not my friends are prepared, whether or not I'm making fighting at my side worth their while. More recently, defenses, the movement of the troops, our numbers. I sleep if I can. I don't know whether there's any use in prayer, but it seems to be a comfort to some.

So, not gods for you. What do you think of?

Don't really believe in anything of a higher power. Just reality and living in right now.

The only thing I try to think of is whether my weapons are ready or not.
