Tell me about your gods.
If you don't have that kind of faith, then tell me what else you believe in. There must be something.
And if not that, tell me what you think of when you know a battle is coming.

in which Aegon Targaryen talks about Aegon Targaryen without knowing that he too is Aegon Targaryen.
This is definitely the New and Improved version of Who's on First

There's a faith where I come from with three goddesses, but I don't know if they're the same. For us, it's the new faith, not the old one. My father's House doesn't hold to it.

The training had already strained her, but thinking back to the past and Westeros, that was what overwhelmed her.]
I don't know what I believe anymore. Is this a place where gods can exist?
no subject
What are your gods like?
[He remembers how he could no longer feel Ghost's presence once the Wall was between them, and how, in those days, Ghost had put him so much in mind of a weirwood that it was impossible to shake the sense that his direwolf somehow belongs to the Old Gods.]

@SUBUBI
If you are a Qunari however you're a godless barbarian.
Dwarves revere their ancestors as Paragons...but if they worshiped anything else apart from that it would be the rock. They believe we come from the earth so naturally they would sanctify stone...plus they live underground.
The Avaar worship the old gods of the Alamarri. They have a Lady of the Sky and a few lesser gods.
Elves, particularly Dalish Elves worship many gods...nine that I know of.

Some think my people worship trees. They're not completely wrong.

@DRUIDBRO
i have seen the boons they bestow instill their devout with a false sense of security. all we have in battle are ourselves. each other.

Has a friend saved you in battle, or have you saved a friend, maybe?
