Enough that I don't have to fuss over it
I'll consider my options first and see if anyone's willing to help cut hair for anyone who wishes to do so
I know next to nothing about fighting in a war but I figured being in trenches for a month will do something awful to one's hair
Get caught in things, obscure vision at the worst times
Things of that nature

I don't doubt it'll turn out rather terrible
Go easy on me, I haven't cut my hair shorter than what I have now in a long time
