Now that we're more accounted for– has anyone seen a man by the name of Eames? He's a little scruffy, looks like at any minute he'll either schmooze you or pick your pockets. Attempting to message him just ends in bounced replies.
[ Always the cynic, he has a sinking feeling he knows what happened. Still, can't hurt to ask, right? ]

Got the same results trying to msg him too

If that isn't the case...
[ He's not sure what to think of that. ]
no subject
But otherwise, I'm not sure what to expect either
Seems Travis is missing too, but I don't know
Something feels off
[ but he can't figure it out for the life of him. there's no looming sense of dread or something that he sensed whenever travis was in over his head. eames, however, he couldn't depend on his instincts for him. he can only assume the worst. ]

I honestly don't know what to expect either. I suppose if he's gone, he's gone.
[ Back to their world and their timeline. Does Arthur even exist in that space anymore, if he's here? If Eames or Cobb try to get a hold of him, will they just get no response? Will they think he's dead somewhere?
Maybe he's over thinking this. ]
no subject
My assumption is that he was perhaps returned to his original point in time
But I suppose Grothia would know more
Have you asked her?
no subject
Them returning brings up a point: do we still exist there?
no subject
Nobody will notice that we didn't exist for a time
Theoretically
I'm not an expert in time travel unfortunately
no subject
Of course, that is assuming your theory is correct. Can't say I'm an expert on this stuff either.

A person doesn't miss a beat from before they were brought on board with COST and still have months worth of experience shoved into a split second
Sounds rather intense if anything
no subject
Though I really am not one to talk about impossibilities.
[ GLANCES AT PASIV ]

How're you holding up
[ a subtle gauging... ]

But I've also been better. Feels like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.
[ It's driving him crazy, honestly. ]
no subject
Sensing a trend here

no subject
Think I'm getting used to it though
@WEHFRIED
He wouldn't be the only one missing, though.
no subject
[ Or back home. Is that even a thing with COST? ]
no subject
[He knows she's gone, at least- their bond as Master and Servant has been severed, leaving Siegfried back on his own mana supply until he finds another.]
no subject
[ Or just gone. That sinking feeling he had initially just gets worse. ]
no subject
[He doesn't explain how, just simply leaves it as it is.]
no subject
How, exactly? If you don't mind my asking.
no subject
It's complicated. To put it simply, we're connected through a contract, and even if we were in two separate locations, we would still be able to speak with each other.
As of right now, that connection has been completely severed.
no subject
That's. Sort of unbelievable. But I guess being here, anything is possible.
I'm sorry about your loss of connection.
no subject
I am as well, thank you. Hopefully she's safe, wherever she is now.
no subject
Hopefully so. That's all we can really do from here, yeah?
@BRUNNHILDE
I'm sorry.

Didn't get along at all at first.

We get on for the most part.

The message just says the recipient could not be reached, the line may be disconnected.
no subject
It might. It's possible he was sent home instead of being missing. I think that happens more than someone going MIA. There is no harm in searching though. Would he go off base out into the wilderness? We could try and track him?
no subject
As much as it's...disappointing that he could've been sent back, that's a better possibility. The only time I've known him to get that adventurous is when there's a gambling house nearby. He's not really one for emulating Indiana Jones and tramping through the wilderness.
no subject
So long as he isn't facing something terrible when he returns home. This would at least spare him from going through another mission. Have you asked anyone else? The Commander or Sergeant? They might know something more.
And no one else saw him hurt or anything like that?
no subject
No, he's...never mind the Indiana Jones thing.
Doesn't seem like anyone saw him injured or anything. If he got sent home, I guess he doesn't have anything too terrible going on that would be greeting him.
no subject
I am sorry you lost your friend though. Even if it is temporary, it's difficult to lose someone you care about. How are you faring?
no subject
I don't know if I'd call him a friend, exactly. It'll be an adjustment without him here, though. I'll be fine– thanks for checking in.
no subject
Of course. I lost someone as well. I know how sudden and painful it can be.
no subject
Take care.
