Before Gallipoli, it was discussed that we should come up with aliases to call each other, and have backstories to speak of while there was downtime in the war. At the time, we knew the Regency was there, but they wouldn't be so visible. It was enough to not be asked too much by the natives of the time, and allowed us the conditions we needed to blend in as a unit of reinforcements that was beached at the wrong location.

The situation may be different here, but I'd suggest we come up with different aliases from before, considering we'll be facing the Regency out in the open. Using your actual name isn't suggested- it could cause problems and endanger the rest of this cell if you do so. Try to pick something you'll remember easily enough.

Feel free to suggest names and ideas for yourselves, or help others. The BCE has a list of them you can pick from. The sooner we can compile a list, the easier it will make it for all of us to recall while in the middle of the mission.

A fair concern. Maybe it's just different for me. My identity was publicized already back home. Against my will. At least here, I can still control what they learn. My name won't tell them anything.

For that matter, it does mean that I gave you a name I don't prefer, so I do apologize if that comes across as insincere to you. It's not my intention. Simply habit.

"Saber" is just a class name. My True Name is Siegfried.

Siegfried. It’s a very strong name. I like it. Is there a reason why you go by class name instead?

You don’t have to worry about me though. I always get by one way or another. Gonna have to do a lot of acting while I’m there as it is, so I don’t imagine they’ll see who I really am. Not many people know how to do that anyway.

Do you have plans for how you’re going to keep your head under? With the magic stuff. I can help if you need it. Turns out I’m the kinda guy they like at the top of the food chain, but to be honest, I don’t know if you’d like the guy I’ll be for them there. I won’t be anyone noble, so I’ll understand if you wanna stay away.

My real name is James, that much is fact. But I prefer Bucky. It’s short for Buchanan, my middle name. It’s not the kind of name anyone can just guess without really knowing me. So that’s why I don’t go around telling everyone.

It's German. My father chose it for the meaning behind it- "with victory." As for the class name, there's a long reason as to why.

Essentially, I'm what's called a Heroic Spirit. A legend who has been summoned and returned to life in a different time outside their own. There are usually seven summoned at a time, and the main reason we're called is to fight each other in a Holy Grail War. Each hero is assigned by a class name- Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker- to hide our identities from the other Spirits summoned. If our True Name is known, then it could destroy any chance we have of victory.

To put it simply, it's mostly out of habit, and my previous Master was paranoid of my identity being discovered.

I plan on speaking only when spoken to, and avoiding confrontation as best I can, mostly. And you might be surprised how well I can handle different personalities- even the ones that are far from kind and noble. I know who you are as a person, I'd like to think- so it won't phase me. Trust me when I say I've been through much worse. If I look like I need help, then feel free. To most of them there, they'll be watching me very closely, since I'm the lowest of the hierarchy.
