Before Gallipoli, it was discussed that we should come up with aliases to call each other, and have backstories to speak of while there was downtime in the war. At the time, we knew the Regency was there, but they wouldn't be so visible. It was enough to not be asked too much by the natives of the time, and allowed us the conditions we needed to blend in as a unit of reinforcements that was beached at the wrong location.

The situation may be different here, but I'd suggest we come up with different aliases from before, considering we'll be facing the Regency out in the open. Using your actual name isn't suggested- it could cause problems and endanger the rest of this cell if you do so. Try to pick something you'll remember easily enough.

Feel free to suggest names and ideas for yourselves, or help others. The BCE has a list of them you can pick from. The sooner we can compile a list, the easier it will make it for all of us to recall while in the middle of the mission.

If I'm going with "Virgil," then you should pick something just as difficult if you haven't already. I'm sure I could come up with a few more with difficult sound groups.

Can you elongate "Virgil" in any way? Add on a few more vowel-sounds? The Araneans have a consonant-heavy naming system, so I assume they may find flowing vowels an irritation. Small acts of rebellion, that could be also be used as leverage in some form.

That's a fair question. Virgil was an ancient, Roman poet that Dante admired. His full name was "Publius Vergilius Maro." Counting up all the vowels, that's nine in total.

I think they'd struggle with that one, don't you? That one alone could give anyone a leg up.

I'd like it, but it is a foolish hill to die on. An alias is the least that we have been asked to endure, considering our etiquette lessons. Our attire. Our dueling. Our hygiene. This might be the only fun we'll have in our lives for a while.

So, yes. Vergilius Maro is a clever and wicked name to ask an Aranean to work with. That gives you -- a leg up on what?

I had another suggestion. Combining the two could make saying it even more pleasant.

Is a full set of horse-men a requirement? I thought we were to preserve COST's alliance with the Araneans. Has it been amended? I do not know where to find two more horse-men, I'll have to search the library for this information.
