I understand some of you are reluctant to change your names or use a different moniker when we make the drop in 1916's Gallipoli. If you're not from a standardized Earth, I suggest you reconsider. If you need assistance, I'll assign you one myself. You don't have to consider them names but codenames to be discarded after we return to BASE.

An example of this: Rider is now Kale. I told him I would notify you all of this alteration.

Think wisely about the impact small things could have on a timeline. They add up and any amount of skepticism brought about by our foolishness is too much. Thanks.

Thank you. I never had to think about aliases before. Where I am from, House names bring a great deal of pride. Men are willing to die for it.

That's a...a strange name. You will have to teach me how to pronounce it, if we ever meet face to face. Are there many Chinese in the time we are going to?

House names. Is Westerling a very grand House name, then, wherever your planet is?

Earth is a populous place of 7 billion, Chinese people account for almost 1.4 billion. So yes, we are many, even in 1916. The year I came from was 2009, so 93 years... I can't say for sure if my information will even be accurate, but it's worth a try.

It was once, but it never meant very much compared to the greater houses. We were always minor compared to them, even though we are as old a house.

That must be strange, traveling back over a thousand years to be in this battle. At least the world will be familiar to you, in a sense.
